❤ Our voice ❤

We are all different, but at the same time we are all the same.
Our smiles look different, but they're all telling a same message.
We all look different, but our touch feels the same.
Our talk sounds different, but it's making same kind of connections.
We all have different lives, but same feelings.

We often concentrate on the actions people do, rather than seeing the feeling behind them. And we fail to see that behind all of our actions there lies a feeling which we all could relate to. If we start thinking about how we describe people we don't really know, we often describe them through their actions, their looks, age, backgrounds etc. And through those we categorize them in our head.
By putting them to those categories we at the same time push them further away from our lives. We categories them in to a sections which we later on only know as the different section. But why is it, that we feel that we can only relate to those who fall in to our category?

What if we wouldn't categorize each other and instead look deeper and understand them? By doing this our imaginary sections would disappear from our heads and we would all get a bit closer together.

We also make many mistakes by concentrating just on peoples actions; seeing only these actions and not the story behind them makes us judge people easily or underestimate our own lives by comparing it with others. But it doesn't really work that way, we've all had our unique path behind us which has shaped us the people we are now and for that we should never compare our actions or lives to others.

I've also started to think why it is that we have a need to categorize people in to those sections. I think it's to make us feel more safe. With many bad things happening around us, we get scared and we ask ourself the question; who can we trust then! It feels scary to think that there's people who might hurt us or our loved ones, walking around us without us being able to recognize them. So what do we do, since we can't recognize the possible evil who might come and hurt us; we find some common features on them and categorize them to feel safe, to feel that we've figured it out now. But are we asking if it's actually helping?
Bad things keep on happening and the distance between people is getting bigger and deeper by the minute. Even though it might feel natural, is it the solution?

When we categorize people we start to treat them differently, we treat them like they're the enemy like they're in the opposite team. But what we should realize is that the way we treat them has a bigger impact then we might even realize.

We treat someone badly because we've been told that "they" have treated us badly, after that they treat someone badly for the same reason. It continues until it comes back to us even bigger and we continue to do what we've learned to do; pass it on. In the end nobody knows who started it.
We are all to blame and at the same time non of us are. We just do what we're used to without questioning it.
It feels like someone gives us burning ball and we rush to pass it to the next person so we won't get burned. What we don't realize is that the fire comes from our own feelings and that we could just stop, take the ball and see how it stops burning.

With our action of making ourself feel safe, we're actually provoking people to do exactly what we're a scared of.
So if it's not helping and it's actually taking us further away from each other, why are we still doing it?

People say we can not change the world, but I choose to disagree. Our impact might seem small, but in a long run it is huge! We change that ball of fire to a ball of love and happiness and pass it on. It will go on, get bigger and it WILL come back to us ❤

Partly for this I wanted to do a bit of a project. To ask a same question from people all over the world and by that show that even though we're all different we are all part of the same. The question was: what do you want to say to world. I got many amazing answers. Some of them were short, some of them were long, but they were all as important.

I made a video from some of those answers and rest of them I will post on a Facebook page dedicated for us to share our message all over the world ❤

Now anyone can post a photo or a video telling what they would like to say to the world.

Facebook page for this project is: www.facebook.com/ourvoiceshareyourmessage
